PRODUCT

The My Verizon App is a self-service platform for 145+ million subscribers—one of the largest consumer apps in the US. My work focused on the Prepaid segment, a distinct subset of the business with its own pricing models, business rules, and account management needs.

ROLE

CHALLENGE

Two constraints made this project unusually complex. Prepaid was a newer segment with evolving business rules, requiring design to absorb frequent changes while simultaneously implementing a new brand system.

SCOPE

UI design and design system work across shop, plan management, and profile flows. Cross-functional collaboration with Verizon product, UX, and engineering stakeholders.

DESIGN SYSTEM

The app runs on an extensive component library of 120 templates and 850 modules. I reorganized its structure to enable collaborative, parallel prototyping across the team, delivered pixel-perfect production-ready screens, and advocated for new components only when new business use cases required them.

850 modules.

IMPACT

Shipped production-ready screens across plan management, profile, and shop flows. The Shop feature launched unannounced and self-discovered within the main menu, with 750 phones purchased in the first two months and no dedicated marketing push.
